| About the presenters... Jane Rickard holds her MEd in Counseling from Drury University & is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has completed post-master's degree work in Marriage & Family Therapy at Pittsburgh State. Ms. Rickard worked as an Adoption Specialist for the Division of Family Services for over 25 years. She is now founder of Attachment Consultants of the Ozarks, a private practice specializing in assessment and treatment of children and adults who have severe attachment issues, oppositional defiant disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and other related disorders. A. J. Anderson holds her MA in Community Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor & a National Board Certified Counselor. She has counseled children & families in a variety of settings. Mrs. Anderson worked in the Children's Department at Burrell Behavioral Health, as well as in the schools. She currently has been in private practice at Attachment Consultants of the Ozarks since 2000. Both participated in hands on, face-to-face training over a period of several years with Dr. Martha Welch, a leading researcher and treatment provider in the field of attachment disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder. Both are committed to providing the most effective, up-to-date, research-based treatment available to families who often feel incredibly hopeless about finding help for their loved ones. |
